Pros And Cons of Facebook Marketplace

Facebook Marketplace is a free service provided by Facebook that is made for buying and selling different type of products using Facebook. Till now, Facebook has got a decent feedback from the users.

Buying products online is easier than selling. There are many sites available for selling but only a few people are aware. For solving this problem, Facebook launched Marketplace in the United States in October 2016. After successfully launching of Marketplace, Facebook started providing this service to the other major countries such as India, Canada, Australia, France, Germany etc.

  • Facebook has started ruining many businesses after launching of Marketplace. Other big companies like Olx, Quickr, eBay and Shopify will lose their revenue.
  • People still don’t use it to buy any product using Facebook, that’s why it will take more time to establish the marketplace.
  • Amazon and Alibaba are providing better service in term of online selling store or business to business (B2B) compare to Facebook.
